The LGBT Bar LA Annual Gala has historically been the largest event that LGBT Bar LA holds each year. The event honors individuals and organizations that have made unselfish contributions to education, human rights, and equality for the LGBT community. For more than ten years the LGBT Bar LA Gala has been themed to spotlight important issues affecting the rights of the LGBT community including marriage equality, military service, adoption, and employment. Our theme for the 2017 Gala is "Taking Our Pulse: The Beat Goes On." The evening will have a focus on community resilience and well-being as well as include a remembrance of the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting. The event also honors LGBT law school student(s) with scholarships and serves as the induction ceremony for the incoming LGBT Bar LA Board of Governors.
The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County is located in Exposition Park, at 900 Exposition Boulevard between Vermont Avenue and Figueroa St. From the 110 (Harbor) Freeway, take the Exposition Boulevard exit and head west toward Vermont Avenue. Turn left (south) on Bill Robertson Lane (formerly Menlo Avenue).
